Preparation of the Faithful – URGENT

The First Commandment is to love God with all our being and above all else. God always helps those who remain faithful to Him. God helped Joseph in Egypt to store grain for seven years so that when the seven years of famine arrived there was enough not only for the Egyptians but also for the twelve tribes of Israel, his chosen people. When Moses led the chosen people out of slavery to wander in the wilderness for forty years God provided them with quails for meat, the bronze serpent for healing and gave them manna, the bread from heaven for their survival. Jesus, our Saviour, feeds us with His Body and His Blood as the remedy for all that ails our souls and bodies. For the times ahead God gives us the messages and the encouragements we need to prepare spiritually by Daily Prayers, Holy Mass, and Confession along with works of charity and mercy. To see to our physical requirements in the Time of Need, God has given us messages about what to store for food, water and medicine and how, when used in faith including only when necessary and in accordance with God’s Will, the miracle of multiplication like the five loaves and two fish, these will sustain us during the times of war, famine and plague until such time when the enemies of God are defeated and the Immaculate Heart of Mary triumphs, as promised by Jesus and Mary. Pray especially for our young children who are our hope for the future and God-willing will be the first generation to enjoy the Triumph of Mary’s Immaculate Heart. Countdown to the Kingdom

The promised Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the same promise as the establishment of the Kingdom on earth, as we pray for in the Lord's Prayer, when Christ will reign on earth from his Eucharistic Throne in every Church. The Path to this will not be easy as it requires great change - Purification before this time of renewal. During the time of the Purification of the Catholic Church and of the World; God will protect, guide and help His Faithful. Trust fully in God alone. Have Faith. The time of renewal will be like a new Pentecost for the Church. It is God's gift to our young children and their descendants for a time. God will save humanity and the earth from destruction. He will heal the earth. But the path to it involves great suffering, martyrdom and sacrifice. The World will join Christ on the Cross; because it is only through the power and victory of the cross that the Faithful can be saved. Do not lose hope: for God alone suffices. For further details and the answers to all your questions about these prophesied times please visit https://www.countdowntothekingdom.com/ God Bless you.

Our Patron, St. Jude, with a prayer for his intercession

St. Jude is the Patron Saint of our Parish; which incorporates the three churches of St. Mary’s, St. Joseph the Worker, and St. Helen’s. Saint Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles appointed by Jesus to lead his Church. In the list of the Apostles given in the Gospel accounts he is generally identified with “Thaddeus”, and is variously known as Jude Thaddaeus, Judas Thaddaeus, Jude (brother or son) of James (Luke 6:16; Acts 1:13), or Lebbaeus. He is sometimes identified with Jude, referred to in the Bible as “brother” or “kinsman” of Jesus (Luke 6:16; Mark 6:3; Matthew 13:55-57) For many centuries he was wrongly confused with Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus. The Gospel of John refers to a disciple called “Judas not Iscariot” (John 14:22). He is also not to be confused with “Thaddeus of Edessa”, one of the seventy disciples sent out by Jesus to proclaim the Kingdom of God. The Letter or Epistle of Saint Jude in the Bible is usually attributed to the Apostle Jude, and though a short text it is inspired Holy Scripture and thus worth reading (to read it click here). Very little is known about St. Jude’s life after the death and resurrection of Jesus, but the ancient tradition of the Church is that he preached the Gospel in the Middle East, namely Judea, Samaria, Idumaea, Syria, Mesopotamia, Libya, Beirut and Edessa. Little is known about St. Jude’s later life, but the ancient tradition of the Church is that after preaching about the Good News of God’s love for all, St. Jude died as a martyr, giving his life in witness to Jesus Christ. According to the tradition of the Christians in Armenia, St. Jude was martyred about 65AD in the Lebanon town of Beirut, together with the apostle Simon the Zealot. The Latin Rite Catholic Church recalls the memory of Saints Simon and Jude on 28th October each year. This Prayer for the intercession of St. Jude can also be prayed as a Novena (prayed each day for 9 consecutive days.) SAINT JUDE, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus! The name of the traitor has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honours and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases – of matters despaired of. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolations and succour of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly… (here make your request), and…

Our Lady of Guadelupe

On 9 December 1531, when Juan Diego was on his way to morning Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Blessed Mother appeared to him on Tepeyac Hill, the outskirts of what is now Mexico City. She asked him to go to the Bishop and to request in her name that a shrine be built at Tepeyac, where she promised to pour out her grace upon those who invoked her. The Bishop, who did not believe Juan Diego, asked for a sign to prove that the apparition was true. On 12 December, Juan Diego returned to Tepeyac. Here, the Blessed Mother told him to climb the hill and to pick the flowers that he would find in bloom. He obeyed, and although it was winter time, he found roses flowering. He gathered the flowers and took them to Our Lady who carefully placed them in his mantle and told him to take them to the Bishop as "proof". When he opened his mantle, the flowers fell on the ground and there remained impressed, in place of the flowers, an image of the Blessed Mother, the apparition at Tepeyac. A more detailed description can be found at https://www.catholiceducation.org/en/culture/catholic-contributions/saint-juan-diego-and-our-lady.html The Catholic Church officially approved the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1555. Our Lady of Guadalupe was solemnly crowned Queen of the Mexican people in the name of Pope Leo XIII in 1895. Pope St. John Paul II declared Juan Diego beatified on the 6th of May 1990 and also canonised him on the 31st of July 2002. The Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is rich in meaning. More recently, scientific analysis of the image on the cloak has verified its miraculous status including the reflection in Our Lady's cornea of the bishop and 12 others present; the accurate topological map of Mexico on her dress and the constellation chart on her mantle accurate for 12th December 1531. And perhaps the most amazing recent discovery is that when the relative positions of the stars and motifs in the Image are analysed and superimposed upon sheet music they produce a musical score. This heavenly 'music of the angels' very closely resembles the singing of angels heard in Healing Masses. Perhaps it is also what Juan Diego heard that first day of the apparitions on Tepeyac Hill. You can listen to this grace-filled music here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU9lNCMWcTE or here
